Shooting Facility

Your eyes scan the crisp morning sky until you locate a cluster of black specks moving just above the horizon. Your guide calls a familiar note and soon those once faint dots materialize into winged forms gliding over your decoy spread.

At Bienville Plantation we offer guided duck hunts from the comfort of duck boats. Try your skill at picking out and harvesting 15-20 different species that call Bienville Plantation their wintering home such as Pintails, Wigeons, Ring- Necks, Blue/Green-Wing Teals, Gadwalls, Hooded Mergansers, Canvasbacks and Shovelers to name a handful. Bienville follows Sate and Federal duck dates for open seasons. We also require that you possess a Florida Hunting License, Waterfowl Stamp and Federal Duck Stamp. All of these can be purchased from our Pro Shop if you did not have the opportunity to acquire them before you arrived. Guided trips begin 45 minutes - one hour prior to safe light and guests may shoot 30 minutes before day-break. All hunts will end by 11AM or once the limits are reached. It is recommended that you bring camo clothing, wet weather gear, and water proof boots.

Black-powder enthusiasts will appreciate hunting from our comfortable box stands. With an eight point limit on bucks along with an intensive management policy, Bienville offers impressive deer hunting for southern white tail action. All deer hunting at Bienville is offered as leases only. Yearly leases are available for individual hunters.

Located on site is Bienville Plantations shooting facility. This first class facility has a Rifle Range Rules, Five Stand and a lighted competition Skeet and Trap Range Skeet Range Rules. Guests can use this facility to practice before the next day's wing shooting experience or schedule a round with co-workers, clients or other guests. All guns and shells are provided in the price of one round. Guests may use their own guns and shells if they wish. There will be no shooting after the consumption of alcohol.

For the daring, Bienville offers Guided Alligator Hunts from May-September. Hunts take place during the day or night depending on movement or even on the guests schedule. Trophy hunts are for 9' or better and the hunt will last as long as it takes to harvest the desired size.
