At Bienville we can offer quail hunting in Florida from Oct. - March. However, the optimum time for wing shooting is late October - the first week in March. Quail hunting is conducted from the comfort of our customized bird buggies, morning quail hunts generally begin following breakfast around the 9am hour and will end just before lunch. If you are with us for an afternoon quail hunt or going back out for a full day hunt, our professional guides will pick you up from the Main Lodge at approximately 1:45pm.

Your harvested birds will be divided amoung your party, cleaned and packed for your departure. The most often asked question has been "What gauge shotgun should I bring and what shells do you recommend?" That is always a difficult answer because we rent Weatherby but we have seen guests bring Remington Automatics, Parker Side by Sides and Ruger Over-Unders to name a few. As far as the ammunition we provide Fiocchi shells on all buggies, You and your guests will only be charged for those boxes used during your hunt.
